Correctional Officer I is an entry level position that requires successful completion of the Entry Level Correctional Academy. Duties Include:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older; Must possess a high school diploma or GED that is recognized by the MD Board of Education; Must be a US Citizen or Resident Alien; Must successfully pass a background investigation; Must successfully pass drug screening; Must successfully pass a physical examination; Must successfully pass psychological testing; and Must possess a Valid Drivers License.
