Salary: $129,200 - 193,000 per year Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of management experience with 5 or more direct reports.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a data center or other mission-critical environment, with knowledge of UPS systems, generators, HVAC, evaporators, and other critical infrastructure; alternatively, at least 7 years of technical training or experience through military service or trade school.
• Preferred: At least 5 years of management experience with 5 or more direct reports.
• Preferred: Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications, or a bachelors degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Preferred: At least 7 years of experience in a data center or other mission-critical environment, focused on building and equipment operations.
• Preferred: Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in critical data center operations, including feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS and PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAHU units.
• Preferred: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing or business justification experience.
• For access to the AWS GovCloud region, our federal contracts require employees to be U.S. citizens as of February 24, 2026; GovCloud may only be accessed from within the United States.

• Oversee the data centers critical physical infrastructure and ensure work is completed to a high standard without disrupting customers.
• Lead and support 24/7 engineering technician teams, including their career development.
• Drive improvement projects from planning through completion, coordinating with relevant support teams.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors and ensure they meet contracted service-level agreements.
• Manage operational budgets and spending effectively.
• Serve on the regional after-hours on-call rotation, responding to data center issues and overseeing investigation, mitigation, and recovery.
• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, building automation, and general facilities equipment.
• Support electrical systems such as standby diesel generators, fuel systems, three-phase systems, switchgear, UPS units, PDUs, and wet-cell batteries.
• Support mechanical systems such as CRAC units, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers and water chemical systems, air handlers, pumps, and motors.
